How it works
OpenToDeals is a noticeboard, not an estate agent. We put owners and buyers in touch, then step back so you can deal directly.
01 List privately. Say what you have, roughly where, and what you're open to. Show a guide price or invite offers. Your personal details stay private.
02 Serious buyers approach you. Each one sends a clear proposal: who they are, what they're offering, timescale and funding.
03 You decide. Reply only to the approaches you like. No pressure, no obligation.
04 Agree terms your way, with your own solicitor. We never negotiate for you or hold your money.

Real deals
01
7 homes, one deal
02
From tenant to owner
Rent-to-rent, 2026. A landlord with seven homes wanted steady income without the day-to-day work of managing them. We brought him together with a growing serviced accommodation company. Steady fixed rent for over five years, with no voids and no management.
Lease to buy, around 2010. At 26, our founder couldn't buy a mixed-use building outright, so he agreed a lease with an option to buy. He turned it into shared housing to increase the rent and bought it outright five years later. It's still being developed today.
03
Buying from the other side of the world
04
Sell the house, keep the garden
Deed of trust. Living overseas, our founder couldn't get a UK mortgage. Someone he trusted bought the house instead, with a deed of trust giving him the equity and the rental income. When it was later sold, the equity went to our founder and the person who helped was paid for their trouble.
Title split. When our founder sold a terraced house, he didn't sell everything. The gardens bordered a nearby building site, so he split them onto their own title before the sale: the house was sold, and the land was kept to give the site more space and room for more homes.
05
Three properties, one purchase
06
The sale that made a move possible
Company purchase. Instead of buying three properties one by one, our founder bought the limited company that owned them. One purchase, quicker and with far less legal work than three separate sales.
Gifted deposit, around 2011. Our founder needed to sell before moving abroad, but the house wasn't selling in time. He found a buyer who could get a mortgage but had no deposit, so he gifted the deposit, declared properly to the lender, and the sale went through.
